Open Morning
Our September Open Morning, the first to be held on a Saturday, was one of our busiest yet, with over 30 new families visiting, and our existing families all keen to experience what Chandlings had to offer.
It was a busy morning, and a buzz could be felt throughout the school when all the families began arriving and our Year 6 pupils started their tours. The tours took in a huge variety of demonstrations and activities from laser cutting bag tags, baking apple strudel, clambering on the low ropes course in the bluebell woods, hunting bugs in the nursery woodland, trying new musical instruments and many more.
Families enjoyed the “warm and friendly environment.”
“We were blown away by the activities on offer during the Open Morning,” said one parent. “I couldn’t drag my daughter away. She wouldn’t leave,” said another.
We hope all the visitors enjoyed themselves and thank all our staff and pupils for coming in to school on a Saturday and showing what Chandlings has to offer.
